Repetitive Strain Injury

This is a general term for a number of conditions that result from repeated movements. Examples are:

  • Tennis Elbow (lateral epicondylitis)
  • Golfers Elbow ( medial epicondylitis)
  • Tenosynovitis of the wrist.
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

It especially occurs in industries involving rapid repetitive twisting and gripping movements such as work on a production line.
